Have you seen the polls lately? In case you were sleeping over the last two months, you may still be asking if Mike Huckabee should be considered a top tier candidate. You may have said, “I like him but can he win?” But you would have to be Rip Van Winkle to still ask that question.
Late last week in Iowa, Mike Huckabee polled 5 points ahead of Mitt Romney. In a very short span of time, Huckabee as gone from being somewhere lower down, to a close second, to a statical tie, to a slight lead, to now a clear and convincing lead for first place. What a month!
But some have said, “Yes Huck is doing well in Iowa, but he has to win more than Iowa.” Well, earlier this week, Mike Huckabee polled three points behind Rudy to come in second place in the national polls for the Republican primary. That is a HUGE jump or bump however you look at it. Huckabee also polled second place in South Carolina, Florida, and Texas. All very key states. This marks a huge surge as Huckabee has surpassed Fred Thompson, Mitt Romney, John McCain and is nipping ever closer on the heals of Rudy Giuliani.
But wait a minute! That was earlier this week.
Huckabee has been steadily on the rise. Other candidates have had ups and downs. Lately and more and more, the other top four candidates have been eclipsed by Huckabee’s rise. To see the good news for yourself. CLICK HERE to read the Rasmussen nation wide poll.
